Improperly configuring TV settings can cause problems. Verify the TV settings are correct First, brightness and contrast should not be set too high or too low because this can cause poor images. Second, adjust the color on the TV if the picture looks over or underexposed. Third, if you are having sound issues, check to make sure the volume is not muted or turned down all the way.
